Finish line in sight

Dear 12th Mile Runners,

This is getting exciting!  WooHoo!

Introducing The 12th Mile: When Hard Becomes Harder Still book cover! See Attached!  Nate Knobloch has been the talent behind its creation and my overall branding. Watch for my new email signature block soon!  He has been an incredible gift to me in this book-writing journey. Yay, Nate! God bless you!

The formatting and the watermark graphics for the text have been completed. We will soon be turning our attention to the back cover. I anticipate receiving a physical copy within the next several weeks for my approval. This has definitely been a journey!  Whew! Thank you, guys, for running with me.  Thank you also for your kind responses to our email visits.  They bless me. I have two asks for you to consider.

First, would you consider reading the eBook of The 12th Mile in mid-April and then posting a review on Amazon? (eBook goes live on April 14th) This helps Amazon’s algorithms increase the book’s visibility. If your schedule allows, please post the review before April 28th, the paperback release date. I would be incredibly grateful! If that is not possible, your posted review would be most welcome whenever you are able.

This brings me to the launch party. It is scheduled for April 25th at Thought Design in Downtown Rockford, Michigan. Please come if you can! I will have paperback copies (I can have them before general distribution) to sign for you if you decide to purchase. I will share a brief encouragement about the book’s message; however, it is primarily an open-house format. So, come when you can, leave when you must. The venue is lovely, conducive to one-on-one conversations with a quaint view of downtown Rockford. There will also be refreshments, closely tied to the book. Fun! More details soon!

I am also working on a couple of other dates and locations to share about the book and its message. I will keep you posted.

Additionally, my local gym (MVP) has encouraged me with their intention to create a story-and-picture layout of my book journey to support my upcoming book release.  This should happen within the next couple of months.  I will keep you in the loop about this as well.

Second ask: Would you consider telling one person about our email community and inviting them to join? This would bring our number to over 100 people. It would increase my reach and help me achieve my long-held goal for The 12th Mile: Help One Parent!  Please share my email address with them if they would like to join: louiseannruns@gmail.com

Thank you for considering these two requests.

We are getting closer…Oh My!

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.  Proverbs 16:9 (NLT)

With love,

Louise Ann
